To graduate with a US-accredited High School Diploma from °µÍø½ûÇø, students need to earn a minimum of 24 credits across various subject areas. Aside from that basic requirement, they must also complete a Creativity, Activity, and Service project and reflect on the importance of the Theory of Knowledge (TOK), a key concept that underpins the learning approach at °µÍø½ûÇø.
The Academic and College Counseling program at °µÍø½ûÇø is designed to support students with exploring, considering, and eventually prepare for, their academic and post-high school plans. With the philosophy of finding good “fit” colleges, the program builds on the student journey of self-exploration and reflection towards making distinctions in and outside the classroom. In the final year, students complete their applications to universities worldwide before selecting their destinations.
Yes, every scholarship is subject to high standards of attendance, diligence and behavior on the Student¡¯s part and to the Parents¡¯ treating the School and our staff reasonably. The terms on which such awards are offered and accepted will be notified to Parents at the time of offer. The value of a scholarship shall be deducted from Fees before any financial aid or other concession is calculated or assessed.
Regardless of the pathway a student chooses, completing the high school program earns them a US-accredited High School Diploma. They will also earn any other certifications associated with their chosen pathways. Some of these include: IBDP, BTEC, AP courses and IB courses.
The IBDP is a two-year program for Grade 11 and 12 students. The IBDP is renowned worldwide for its academic rigor and for equipping students with valuable soft skills that will be of great use in college and beyond. Many universities will also credit courses taken under the IBDP or provide other special considerations. Students that choose this path must take three Higher Level and three Standard Level courses, engage in Theory of Knowledge reflection, complete a 4,000-word Extended Essay, and undertake a Creativity, Activity, and Service project.
